Interesting thing about that run was that Ron Dennis told Heidfeld to go after the record at FOS and he blitzed it. Later Ron said he wished he hadn't said so since Heidfeld was still way too inexperienced at the wheels of an F1 car and the hill wasn't exactly an easy place to push that monster car.

And you can imagine why Heidfeld was pissed off when McLaren picked Kimi instead of him to replace Mika when he was their golden boy earlier.

Yeah, I bet that was messy....buy how could you not go with Kimi and let him walk right on into another drive though? They even took heat because Kimi was thought to be a danger to the other drivers on account of his lack of seat time. Though we all know better now about the quality of the Ice Man.
